This bridging visa is more popularly know as BVB and issued to the BVA holders who would like to leave and re-enter Australia while holding a BVA. Validity of A BVB greatly depends on the visa subclass for which you have lodged an onshore application. It is important to note that this visa cannot be issued to persons who are not in Australia at the time of grant and it cannot be extended if you are overseas. BVB holder must ensure they return to Australia within the validity of their BVB and restore the BVA by lodging a fresh application with DHA.
