The Subclass 102 visa is a migration visa for applicants who are outside Australia and are looking to migrate to Australia as a dependent child of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen. This visa allows the dependent child to live and work in Australia permanently.

While the subclass 102 visa is for the applicants who are offshore (outside Australia at the time of lodging the application, it’s onshore counterpart is the subclass 802 visa.
